1. This Saturday (Jan. 21) we will be having our Chinese New Year celebration from 11:00 am - 12:00 pm. Weather permitting, the event will be under the canopy in front of the school office; in case of rain/wind, we will move to the gymnasium. If you have traditional Chinese clothing, we encourage you to wear it to get into the spirit of the holiday! We will have Chinese lion dancing, red envelopes for the children, and many other activities. Please attend with your children if possible.

2. For the upcoming 2012-2013 school year, PVCS is planning on increasing the number of classes offerred; as such, we will be looking to interview and hire teachers. The Board of Directors recently decided that parents whose children are currently enrolled and who apply for and are hired to teach at PVCS will enjoy a tuition waiver for their children (no limit for number of children). Over the course of our 30+ year history, PVCS has always taken pride in being a family and community oriented organization; the Board hopes that with this benefit, new parents will that share our passion for the teaching of Chinese language and culture and are interested in service to our community will step forward and continue with our proud tradition.
