1）明天是孔子诞辰，也就是中国人的教师节。提醒一下孩子们，不要忘记祝福美国学校和中文学校的老师，教师节快乐！

2）普慕纳中文学校35周年庆祝晚宴，周六开始售票。大人10元，12岁以下儿童5元。 请大家不要放弃难得的机会，除了丰富的餐点外，每班同学都会有表演精彩节目，也可借此机会认识本校历史。

4）恭喜本校学生赵安琪同学获得南加州中文学校联合会优秀学生奖学金，王天琨同学获得大华超市慈善基金会优秀学生奖学金，以及牟憶苹老师服务侨教满十年接受中华民国侨务委员会表扬。两位同学在上周六联合会年会中接受表扬，牟老师则由校长代表接受表扬。

1. Tomorrow (Sept. 28) is celebrated as Teachers' Day in Taiwan and China. It is the birthday of Confucius, the most revered teacher in Chinese history. Remind your children to wish their teachers (at their regular school ad at Chinese school!) a great Chinese Teachers' Day.

2. We will be selling tickets in the Chinese school office to our 35th Anniversary Gala to be held on Nov. 20, 2011, at Jessie Turner Community Center in Fontana Park, City of Fontana. All students will be performing that day. Don't miss the opportunity to meet old and new friends, to celebrate our history, and to enjoy great food and entertainment! Tickets are $10/adult and $5/child (12 and under) to help cover costs. See PTA President Jennifer Chang for details.

4. Congratulations to PVCS students Jessica Chao and Kevin (Tien Kun) Wang for being recognized for Outstanding Student and Tawa Foundation Scholarships, respectively, at the Southern California Council of Chinese Schools (SCCCS) Yearly Meeting last Saturday. Also, congratulations to Mrs. Yiping Yeakley for being recognized for 10 years of service as a Chinese teacher.
