The Second Annual PVCS Karaoke Competition general guidelines:

• In keeping with the mission of PVCS, all songs will be limited to those performed in Mandarin Chinese. No Taiwanese or Cantonese, please!
• For technical reasons, we are going to try to restrict song selection to those that we can find on YouTube.
• Preliminary rounds will be held on 11/6, 11/13, 11/20.
• We are not going to have a suggested song list this year. The students can choose any mandarin song they like as long as we can find the song on youtube. If you really don't know what song to choose, we have a preliminary list of songs that might be suitable for PVCS students from the competition last year. 
• We are soliciting donations for prizes! Donations may be eligible for tax deductions.
• In order to encourage interactions between parents and kids, this year we are going to have competitions of family groups. Mom, Dad or parents can team up with students. However, students have to sing more than 50% of the song.

今年我们将舉办普慕纳中文学校第二届卡拉OK大赛.

• 为了因应中文学校教学目标，曲目将限制为国语歌曲，恕不接受台奥歌曲。
• 基于技术上的限制，曲目也局限在YouTube上所找得到的歌曲为准。
• 初赛将在上学期中 11/6, 11/13, 11/20 举办.
• 今年我們將不建議曲目。同學們可任選歌曲。但歌曲比須在 youtube 上找得到。如過你真的不知道可唱什麼歌, 可參照去年比賽時找出的一些可能适合同学们可以唱的歌。
• 希望有家长愿意捐出一些比较好的奖品，鼓励同学们勇跃参加！捐赠奖品可能可以报税。
• 為了鼓勵親子互動,今年我們將試辦家庭組的比賽。父，母親可以和同學們對唱或是輪唱。同學們必須唱一首歌的 50% 以上。
